This place is unique. There’s not another race track out there that’s similar to this. Michigan is another two-mile track, but the pavement doesn’t really relate at all, so just going to go out there and try to learn as much as I can throughout the two practice sessions. My GameStop Camry will be really fast, so I’ve just got to do my job and try a put it up front.”

Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Reed heads to his home track of Auto Club Speedway (ACS) in Fontana, Calif. this weekend. Reed is originally from Bakersfield, Calif. and still has many family and friends in the area. Reed watched his Dad race there growing up and it also the track where he got his first autograph. His first autograph happened to come from Dale Earnhardt Jr. and is the only die cast car Reed has in his collection besides cars he has raced.
The track Too Tough To Tame is now accepting applications for its Lady in Black position until April 2. The next Lady in Black will serve as a vital representative of Darlington Raceway, making appearances at various community and media events, parties and its annual Bojangles’ Southern 500 Labor Day race weekend on Sept. 1-2.
Fontana Preview: The Series heads to Fontana, Calif., for Sunday’s 400-mile race at Auto Club Speedway that marks the final leg of the ‘West Coast Swing.’ After 16 career starts at the Southern California track, Hamlin has recorded two top-five finishes, five top-10 finishes and three pole starting positions, as well as a career-best finish of third (2008 and 2016).
The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champions No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports team with driver Jimmie Johnson will have a new primary sponsor beginning next season. Lowe’s Companies Inc., which has been the No. 48 team’s only primary sponsor since 2001, will not return to Hendrick Motorsports in 2019.
The 24-year-old Riggs from Bahama, North Carolina, clocked in a pole-winning lap at 121.503 mph in 18.502 seconds for his second consecutive Truck pole of 2026 in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
This weekend marks the first points-paying NASCAR Cup Series race at North Wilkesboro Speedway since 1996, but Richard Childress Racing has a long and storied history at the track.
