Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing team will try to reverse a three-week string of bad racing luck this Saturday night in the Go Bowling 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Self has one start at Kansas Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, occurring last May. Self started 29th and finished 25th. Self also has two ARCA Racing Series starts at the 1.5-mile track, with his best finish of 12th coming in 2015.

CHEVROLET PERFORMANCE: Chevrolet leads all other manufacturers with 11 victories at Kansas Speedway. Five different drivers have piloted their Chevrolet race cars to Winner’s Circle at the 1.5-mile track.

Difference in turns: “The toughest thing at Kansas is really the degree of banking," Allmendinger said. In Turns 1, 2, 3 and 4, I think they say it’s the same, but both ends of the racetrack drive a lot different. Turns 1 and 2 to me always feels a lot faster.

FIRST NIGHT RACE OF THE SEASON: "One of the fun aspects of the spring race at Kansas Speedway is it's under the lights and the first Saturday night race of the season," Buescher said. "I'm looking forward to getting the No. 37 Scott Products Chevrolet on track. The track conditions for the race will definitely be different from practice on Friday."

Talladega Recap: Denny Hamlin finished 11th in the #11 FedEx Express Toyota after leading 43 laps in Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway won by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Hamlin started 11th and fell back to 33rd after just two laps when he had a close call while running the low line racing four-wide on the high banked oval. Hamlin decided to stay out of trouble and run at the back of the field for the rest of Stage 1 after the FedEx car developed a vibration, forcing the team to pit three laps prior to the end of the Stage.

KANSAS KAHNE: In Kasey Kahne’s 19 Kansas starts, he has led 102 total laps in six races, which ranks him 11th among current drivers and 19th all-time. In the 10 starts the 37-year-old has made while driving for Hendrick Motorsports, he has amassed four top-five finishes and six top-10s, including a second-place finish in April 2013. In Kahne’s last 10 starts at 1.5-mile tracks, he has accrued two top-five finishes and five top-10s.

Fresh off a sweep at Talladega Superspeedway, Ford will look to continue its impressive start to the 2017 NASCAR season this weekend at Kansas Speedway. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won his first career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, giving Ford five wins in the first 10 events of the season. News and notes: This will be Spencer Boyd’s first start at Kansas Speedway. The race is also a bit of homecoming for Boyd, a Missouri native, with several friends and family in attendance. Along for the ride is new associate sponsor, Excessive Carts as well as Lilly Trucking and Bubba Burger.
