“All of the XFINITY Series regulars become rookies again this weekend as we take on Pocono for the first time in these cars,” said Reed. “It will be really interesting to see how these cars handle over the bumps and what kind of speed we reach as we hit the track for the first time on Thursday.
“Pocono is a unique place and a lot of fun to race at. You hear us talk about three different corners, different banking, dogleg, tunnel turn, and a real flat long turn three to go down a big long straightaway. Strategy is getting your car to turn and have grip in all those different corners.
Ryan Reed and the ‘Riding with Ryan’ program roll into Pocono Raceway for the first time this weekend. The NASCAR XFINITY Series has never visited Pocono, but Reed has competed at the track twice in the ARCA Racing Series. In 2012, Reed took home two top-10 finishes at the track.
