RCR Chevrolets have also been atop the leaderboard for a total of 268 laps and, with the exception of one, each entry has been running at the finish of every Brickyard 400 since the inaugural race in 1994.
Back On Track... The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to the dirt track this weekend in Rossburg, Ohio for the 1-800-CARCASH MUD SUMMER CLASSIC. Travis Kvapil will make his 1st NCWTS start at the famous Eldora Speedway.
Aric Almirola will run the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Indianapolis (Ind.) Motor Speedway this weekend for Biagi DenBeste Racing and their new partner, Sledgehammer, a brand of Treasury Wine Estates. He will compete in his first XFINITY race at Indianapolis when he pilots the No. 98 Ford at the famed 2.5-mile track.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a track steeped in tradition. The track officially opened in June 1909 with balloon races followed by motorcycle and automobile races later that year. A stamp cost two cents, a gallon of gas six cents and Yale University was the NCAA champion in football at that time.
Back on the Chase Grid, Aric Almirola and the No. 43 Eckrich Ford team look to continue their consistency this weekend as they head to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Almirola has a two point lead over the Chase cutoff spot and 26 point deficit to the 14th spot in points. The team looks to keep posting Top-15 finishes to march back up in points.

Growing up just an hour away from the track, the New Castle, Indiana native looks to wow the hometown crowd with a strong performance. The wildcard for the weekend is the new high downforce, high drag aero package NASCAR instated. With an emphasis placed on drafting, Armstrong looks to capitalize on that skill to advance through the field.
