Kevin Harvick won the Wonderful Pistachios 400 at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday to earn the second seed in the 2011 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Harvick, No. 29 Budweiser Chevrolet, leads six Team Chevy drivers in the '11 Chase field.

In the final race before the 12-driver, 10-race Chase for the Sprint Cup championship begins, U.S. Army driver Ryan Newman pulled off another solid performance, finishing eighth in Saturday night's Wonderful Pistachios 400 at Richmond International Raceway.

Carl Edwards led 112 laps and came just short of victory in the final ‘regular season’ Sprint Cup race before the Chase cutoff point at Richmond International Raceway, finishing second to Kevin Harvick.

Carl is the 5th seed with 2,003 points based on his one win of the season.

Rusty Wallace Racing's No. 62 Freightliner Trucks team claimed an 11th place finish this weekend in Richmond International Raceway's Virginia 529 College Savings 250.

Ryan Truex qualified 11th for Friday's race, but had to drop back to 42nd to start the race due to an ignition problem with the No. 20 at the command to start engines.
