Chris Buescher hit the track at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) for his first NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at the two-and-a-half mile track. The Roush Fenway Racing driver had a fast No.60 Roush Performance Parts Mustang and was able to hold his ground within the lead pack after starting in third, running inside the top ten for much of the evening. After avoiding trouble during a late-race caution, Buescher was stuck in the back of the pack without enough time left to make up ground, but fought hard until the last second of a green-white-checkered finish to earn a 12th- place result.
After rain cancelled night racing at Daytona International Speedway, Carl Edwards hit the two-and-a-half mile track Sunday morning, starting in the 11th-spot. The No.99 Subway Ford Fusion was running with a tight pack in three-wide formation and was caught up in a 16-car pileup on lap 20. The team worked hard in the garage to reassemble the mangled machine and the Roush Fenway driver would come back out, 45 laps down, to finish the day in 37th.

Joey McColm and Canada’s Best Racing Team (CBRT) began the busy July stretch of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series making their first visit to Circuit ICAR in Mirabel, Quebec for round number three this past weekend. As always the team gave an A-plus effort over the weekend however a few mechanical issues hurt their performance.
The 2025 Brickyard 400 champion from Mobile, Alabama, rallied from an early pit road equipment interference penalty to notch a combined 10 stage points between the first two stage periods and contend for the victory before finishing in eighth place at Sin City.
The three-time Daytona 500 champion from Chesterfield, Virginia, was involved in a single-car spin in the closing stages of the first stage period that caused him to secure no stage points and have his deficit to Kyle Larson increase from 26 to 40 at Sin City.
The two-time Southern 500 champion from Mitchell, Indiana, led a race-high 175 of 267 laps, swept all stages and cut his points deficit from 123 to 84 with his second victory of 2026 at Sin City.
A valiant last-lap effort by the reigning champion, Kyle Larson, saw the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet team lead the manufacturer with a second-place finish in the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
