I felt very lucky to make it through all the cars today.”

DAVID GILLILAND – No. 38 Loan Mart Ford Fusion – “That was really big, probably the hardest hit I’ve ever had. It blew a right-front tire. We were struggling a little bit with the car, which wasn’t handling the way we needed it to at the start of the race. It was still a bit tight and we were just biding our time for the next pit stop where we could come in and work on it. It’s too bad. I didn’t know you could hit that hard on a mile race track. That was a tough one.”

Today, Pennzoil® is proud to announce the donation of three retro-fitted Dodge vehicles to three paralyzed veterans as part of the brand’s Long Love Cars campaign, which celebrates the common themes associated with automotive passion, including music and freedom, as well as sharing the joy with others. The vehicles were presented at a ceremony on Veteran’s Day prior to the 500-mile race at Phoenix International Raceway. The three veterans were selected from hundreds and received a vehicle of their choosing, retro-fitted to their specific needs.

Race Summary: Michael Annett started the Great Clips 200 at Phoenix International Raceway from the 17th position. Annett had momentum from the drop of the green flag and gained seven spots in just the first five laps, to be scored in the 10th position.

Camry driver Joey Logano took the checkered flag in Saturday afternoon's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Phoenix International Raceway. The win was his ninth NNS victory of the 2012 season.
