TOYOTA TIDBITS THREE TOP-10S AT THE GLEN: Three Camry drivers claimed top-10 results in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) road course race at New York's Watkins Glen International. Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) teammates Clint Bowyer and Martin Truex Jr. finished fourth and 10th, respectively , and Kyle Busch claimed a seventh-place result.

Three nights of NASCAR night racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway can be a family event at an affordable price this Labor Day weekend with special offers for students and youths under the age of 12.

With its Fords featuring a “Justice League” super hero theme, Roush Fenway flexed its muscle in the Justice League 400 at its Michigan Speedway victory in 2004, placing all five cars inside the top 10. The race marked the second career Sprint Cup Victory for Greg Biffle and the Cup debut of Carl Edwards.

Racing at Michigan International Speedway... Justin Lofton will race at Michigan International Speedway for the third time in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) career this weekend in the No. 6 Lofton Cattle Chevrolet Silverado. In addition to his NCWTS experience on the 2.0-mile oval, Lofton has one NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start and two starts in the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Racing Series.

Taking on the Truck Series at Michigan International Speedway... Cale Gale will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday afternoon, August 18. The Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender currently has two NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) and two Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Racing Series starts at the two-mile oval.

Chevrolet has won 35 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Manufacturers’ Championships. Team Chevy drivers have scored 698 wins and 626 poles in NSCS competition.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads from the Pocono mountains to the Irish Hills of Michigan for the VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway. Paludo has one previous start at the 2.0-mile D-shaped oval. In 2011, Paludo started ninth and finished third, which remains his career-best NCWTS finish.

Carl Edwards on racing at Michigan International Speedway: “I remember we ended a long losing streak at Michigan in 2007. Any time you win at Michigan it’s big and it’s big especially for the guys who race for Jack. His business is based in Michigan. We really appreciate everything Ford has done for our sport, Jack and everyone at RFR, so it’s a very special place to win."

Jason White on Michigan: “We all know that Michigan is a wide and fast race track. But the new pavement has taken it to a whole new level as we saw with the Cup cars. We were lucky enough to test there at the Goodyear tire test recently and there is so much grip in the track which really allows the truck to handle through the corners. Michigan has always been a horsepower track and we have an awesome engine package from Roush Yates Engines and that will play a crucial part for us this weekend. I think the groove on the new pavement will widen out as the race goes on and we will very likely have an awesome three-wide finish.”

EGR at Michigan: EGR has made 45 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) starts at Michigan, earning one win with Sterling Marlin (2001), four top-five and nine top-10 finishes. In those 45 starts, EGR has completed 10,460 laps out of a possible 11,135 or 93.9 percent, and has led 213 laps. In four ARCA starts at Michigan, EGR has two victories, Mears (2003) and Sorenson (2004).
