The final day of the 2016 Charlotte Motor Speedway Media Tour was dubbed Chevrolet Day for a good reason. The top teams running Chevrolets made their way to the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina. At the very top of the list of Chevy teams, is Chip Ganassi Racing.

Roush Fenway Racing has fallen on hard times over the last few years. The former leaders of Ford Racing have also fallen behind other Ford teams including Team Penske and to a lesser extinct, Richard Petty Motorsports. RFR feels that they are on the right track now. Time will tell.
Aric Almirola, the most veteran driver in the Richard Motorsports stable doesn't want to look at the past but has optimism for the future. After making the Chase in 2014 on his victory at the Firecracker 400 at Daytona, disappointment was obvious as he discussed 2015.
“What do I attribute to my success? It’s hard getting out of this business once you get in it," team owner Roger Penske said. "To me, it’s my day job on the weekends. We’re in this for one reason—to win. I will be at the races as long as I can stand up.
It was Toyota day in the Media Tour. Joe Gibbs Racing, along with its first championship earned by Kyle Busch, comes into 2016 fairly intact from the success of 2015. Only a personnel change here and there are different from a four-car team that won 12 races.
JR Motorsports has competed at Rockingham Speedway a combined four times in the NOAPS. In those starts at the 1.017-mile oval, the organization has recorded one win, one top-five and one top-10. The average finish is 12.8.
