The Ironman 55 is always a challenging event for drivers, with 55 laps around the lightning fast, high-banked bullring at Federated Auto Parts at I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri. Throw in the traditional summer heat and humidity of the St. Louis area and every fiber of a driver, their car and team is tested. Verizon IndyCar Series championship front-runner Helio Castroneves takes a 13-point lead over Team Penske teammate Will Power heading into the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio on Aug. 3, which kicks off the four-race sprint to the season finale on Aug. 30.

#07 Todd Campbell lead the field to green and lead for the first seven laps of the feature. Defending event winner #81 of Andrew Gresel took command of the fifty lap event on lap eight and went on to pick up the feature win. #22 of Glenn Watson post a couple of late race challenges but could not complete the pass and settled for second place when the checker flag waved.

Hanover Holiday Rookie of the Year contender #99 Drew Stieler and #88 Ryan Dick lead the seventeen car field to the green for the 50 lap feature event. Fourth starting #8 of Gary Mclean quickly moved to the front of the field on lap three and went on to pick up another Rick Woolner Memorial win for his team. This is the one race that Gary and his team want to win the most each and every year. #36 of Gary Elliott tied his best ever OSCAAR finish with a second place.

As the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards makes its second stop at Pocono Raceway in the 2014 season, Team BCR’s driver, Justin Allison will have another chance at capturing his first victory.

Steckly brought his 22 Racing/Canadian Tire Dodge to Autodrome St. Eustache with one thing in mind and that was to get their first win of 2014. He did that by winning in a dominant way and continued his string of top finishes at this .4 mile flat oval. In six starts at Autodrome St. Eustache, Steckly has not finished outside the top four, with four wins, a second and a fourth place finish.

Electrical issues ended Justin Allison’s night early at Lucas Oil Raceway in the SCOTT Get Geared Up 200.

Sidelined for most of the last two seasons due to sponsorship woes, 5-time ARCA winner Brennan Poole is set to make his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards return on Friday, August 1st, at Pocono Raceway.
