After nearly a two-month break in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards racing schedule, the series returns this weekend to the ultra-fast-half-mile, Salem Speedway.

There are very few tracks on the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series circuit that are as steeply banked as Salina Highbanks Speedway in Oklahoma. In fact, they can probably be counted on just one hand. Kraig Kinser has raced on a number of high-banked tracks over the course of his career and one of those is Salina where he’ll continue a stretch of races in the Midwest with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series this weekend.

On Saturday, April 20th, Pocono Raceway, a leader in the sports industry for their ongoing Pocono Green initiatives, and ZLOOP Computer and Electronics Recycling Centers transformed part of the infield space at the “Tricky Triangle” into one of Pennsylvania’s largest e-Waste recycling events of the year in celebration of Earth Day 2013.

The Salem Speedway, site of Sunday's third round of the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 presented by Crosley Radio, means something special to nine-time series champion Frank Kimmel -- who's won at the legendary southeastern Indiana short track a record nine times.

Having two straight weekends rained out feels like an eternity for a racer. Just ask Tracy Hines, who has put in plenty of hours in the shop recently, but would much rather be at the track mixing it up. With three races scheduled in his home state of Indiana this weekend, he’ll get the chance to compete and also show his versatility.

Faced with the prospect of racing just once for the second weekend in a row, thanks to Mother Nature interrupting the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series schedule, David Gravel did what any true racer would do. He did exactly that on 11 occasions in four different states during the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series West Coast Swing. Now back in the Midwest, he’ll visit a pair of tracks that he made his debut at last year and will thus be visiting for the second time as the series begins a stretch of races in the Midwest.
