The final event of the 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire series took place Saturday night at Kawartha Speedway near Peterborough, ON. It marked another spectacular run for Martin Roy driver of the #90 Batteries Expert/Veloce/Gamache Truck Centre Dodge who is the series rookie of the year and teammate Isabelle Tremblay pilot of the #07 Frank Lyman Design Dodge also showed well.

Sherwood Park, Alberta’s Noel Dowler, the #5 EMCO Dodge team approached the final round of the 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series at Kawartha Speedway near Peterborough, ON looking for another strong finish and to finish as high as possible in the overall standings.

Jason White was satisfied on Saturday with the performance of his #21 Bowers & Wilkins Dodge at the Pinty’s 250, calling it the “best running car we’ve had this season.” Unfortunately for White, the car’s performance wasn’t quite enough to give him the edge he needed to move up in the season standings.

Mother Nature tried her best to derail the World of Outlaws this past weekend, as she was victorious at Eldora Speedway on Friday and did all she could to disrupt Saturday night’s event at Lernerville Speedway, but track and series officials persevered and despite a three-hour rain-delay the program was completed in its entirety, and for Kraig Kinser a ninth-place showing, marked his second Top-10 finish of the week.
