Salem Speedway record-holder Frank Kimmel was bitten twice by "short-track surprises" in the last 10 laps of Sunday's Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 presented by Crosley Radio, which knocked him into a battle-scarred sixth-place finish.

Simply put, David Gravel had a battle on his hands all night at Salina Highbanks Speedway in the World of Outlaw STP Sprint Car Series event on Saturday, April 27. First, he took on a blazing fast surface that was even quicker due to Mother Nature dumping quite a bit of rain in the area over a two-day period.

When Justin Boston took the checkered flag to win the pole for Sunday's Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 presented by Crosley Radio, crew chief Billy Venturini immediately started passing out high five's and handshakes from his seat above the pit box for the 25 team.
