Chris Buescher ran to an 11th-place finish in Saturday’s season finale to bring home the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series Championship. Buescher led the championship point standings for the final 24 races of the season. The championship marked the fifth time a Roush Fenway Racing driver has hoisted the XFINITY Series trophy and the third time in the past five seasons. It also marked Jack Roush’s eighth NASCAR title.

Austin Dillon was on fire at Charlotte Motor Speedway; at one point, literally. Dillon qualified on the pole for Friday's Drive for the Cure 300 by edging fellow cup driver Kasey Kahne with a speed of 183.524 mph. During pre-race activities, one of the fireworks that were set off, misfired and landed on Dillon and his car, burning his fire suit.
Stewart Friesen led Team Toyota with a sixth-place finish in Friday night’s rain-delayed NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway. Gio Ruggerio also recorded a top-10 finish, coming home ninth.
The 23-year-old Riggs from Bahama, North Carolina, rallied from being shuffled from a dominant lead prior to the final stage period to outduel Rajah Caruth on the final lap for his third Truck victory of 2026 at Nashville.
