The turning point came in the closing laps when Busch took command, passing Harvick with 20 laps to go. It was his sixth Nationwide series victory of the year. Kevin Harvick and Ryan Blaney crossed the line in the follow up spots.

Atlanta Motor Speedway is good to Kevin Harvick as he takes his third Nationwide Series win of the year in the Great Clips 300 to Benefit Feed the Children. He started the race in eighth place but quickly took over the lead from pole winner Chase Elliott on lap 37 and he was gone, leading an incredible 159 laps out of the 195 lap race.
On a restart with six laps to go, Ryan Blaney would get the advantage on Kyle Busch and then held off Busch's final charge to win the Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway. It marks Blaney's second career victory in the Nationwide Series, following his first career win at Kentucky Speedway.
