Spire Motorsports Strengthens Partnership with Go Bowling for Weekend “Double” at Watkins Glen

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 5, 2026) – Spire Motorsports and Go Bowling will renew its partnership in 2026 and expand the relationship by including both Michael McDowell and young phenom Tristan McKee during the NASCAR Cup and ARCA Menards Series’ race weekend at Watkins Glen International (WGI).

McDowell will pilot the No. 71 Go Bowling Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in NASCAR’s premier division for the May 10 Go Bowling at the Glen while McKee will race the No. 77 Chevy when the ARCA Menards Series mixes it up on Friday, May 8 at the famed 2.45-mile road course, situated at the southern tip of Seneca Lake, in the picturesque Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York.

Bowling continues to be the No. 1 participatory sport in the United States, with more than 60 million people taking to the lanes and bowling centers all over America each year.

“Bowling is one of the most exciting, inclusive sports out there – bringing people together for competition, connection, and pure fun in a way few activities can,” said John Harbuck, President of Strike Ten Entertainment. “It’s time to break out of the ordinary, don’t go boring, Go Bowling, and experience the energy, community, and thrill that make this sport so special.”

Both drivers will sport identical bowling-lane themed liveries when each division returns to the seven-turn venue known for its high speeds and challenging layout. Last season’s annual visit to The Glen saw McDowell qualify sixth and, after being shuffled as deep as 33rd in the running order, rally to bring home a 19th-place finish.

The McDowell/McKee pairing will run a combined 345 miles between the two races, displaying the Go Bowling colors and supporting various bowling-themed activations at the track. Last year, the 19-year Cup Series’ veteran participated in bowling the World’s Highest Strike, an added highlight for both the driver and Go Bowling.

McDowell, a Glendale, Ariz., native and accomplished road racer, has competed in multiple series at WGI including the Rolex Grand-Am Sports Car series where he earned multiple top-five finishes prior to his time in the NASCAR ranks. In Cup Series competition, the 41-year-old racer has earned two top-10 finishes and led laps in three of his last four starts.

“Go Bowling has been such a fun partnership,” said McDowell, “From the World’s Highest Strike with Norm Duke and Malia Briggs, to the way they have embraced my family and the team. It has been nothing short of special. I am thankful for the opportunity to take our partnership to the next level. Tristan (McKee) is a special talent, and he clearly has what it takes to win. Watkins Glen has been one of my favorite tracks for years and our road course program has been constantly improving. So, I’m excited to get up to The Glen a little earlier this year and hopefully give the Go Bowling team a good run.”

In his ARCA Menards Series debut last season, McKee qualified fourth for the venue’s 100-mile contest, taking the lead with three laps to go, en route to his first career ARCA victory, just five days after turning the minimum age requirement of 15-years-old.

“I’m eager to have Go Bowling on our car at Watkins Glen,” said McKee, “Bowling is always a lot of fun and one of the most traditional family activities everywhere in the country, so I’m looking forward to a fun trip to Watkins Glen. I won in my ARCA debut last year, so I’m looking forward to getting it done again and having Go Bowling support our team.”

Go Bowling partnered with Spire Motorsports for three races in 2025, including McDowell’s effort in both the Cup Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, including its traditional activations at WGI.

“Go Bowling has been a terrific partner for Michael McDowell and our entire organization,” said Spire Motorsports President, Bill Anthony, “This is a great opportunity to extend that relationship in a way that supports one of our emerging young drivers. Tristan (McKee) continues to show maturity and speed beyond his years and returning to Watkins Glen after earning his first ARCA win there last season makes this a particularly meaningful weekend for him. We’re thrilled to bring together a driver with a bright future and a brand that represents fun, family-friendly entertainment and has quickly become a valued part of our NASCAR program.”

The Go Bowling at The Glen will be televised live on FS1, Sunday, May 10, beginning at 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The 12th of 36 races on the 2026 Cup Series schedule will be broadcast live on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.

The General Tire 100 ARCA Menards Series race will be televised live on FS2, Friday, May 8 beginning at 1:30 p.m. EDT and streamed on FOX Sports Live. The fifth of 20 races on the 2026 ARCA national tour schedule will be broadcast live on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.

Chalmers Ventures invests in Detecht – aims to become one of the world’s leading motorcycle apps

Together with existing owners, Chalmers Ventures is investing €400,000 in Detecht, a mobile platform for motorcycle safety. The investment is a testament to continued strong confidence in the company, which has established itself as one of the world’s largest apps in its niche.

Gothenburg (May 5, 2026). In a short period, Detecht has evolved into a technically mature platform that combines crash detection with route planning and social features. By utilizing the phone’s built-in sensors, the app can detect if you fall off your bike or are involved in a collision.

It also functions as a GPS. However, unlike Google Maps, which often seeks the fastest route, Detecht focuses on the experience. For example, you can set the app to prioritize curvy and scenic roads. Simultaneously, the platform is a social network for riders, where users can share both riding statistics and experiences with like-minded individuals along the way.

By focusing on measurability and clear KPIs, the company has demonstrated a high demand for digital services that increase road safety. With over 25,000 subscribers globally and an already strong presence in the USA, the goal now is to further accelerate expansion.

Detecht’s core technology, the “crash algorithm,” originates from research at Chalmers University of Technology. The team behind Detecht comes from the Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship, making the company a clear example of how academia and entrepreneurship can successfully collaborate.

“This company impresses by consistently delivering results. They are very skilled at measuring and managing operations based on their KPIs. Detecht is a great example of our model where we build companies by matching research results with entrepreneurship students,” says Louise Brudö, Investor Director at Chalmers Ventures.

With an international position and a scalable business model, Chalmers Ventures sees great potential in the company’s continued journey.

“Detecht operates in a global niche with clear demand. With a technically mature platform and a driven team, the company has established a strong international position and good conditions for continued growth,” continues Louise Brudö.

For Detecht, the capital injection of €400,000 represents an opportunity to consolidate its position and increase the pace in markets across both North America and Europe, while continuing to invest in product development.

“Having our existing owners and Chalmers Ventures with us underscores the confidence in our growth journey. Today, we are one of the world’s largest motorcycle apps where safety, navigation, and community are integrated into a single platform. Now we are focusing on honoring that trust and scaling operations further,” says Niklas Ohlsson, CEO and co-founder of Detecht.

Victory in Miami as GMG Racing Remains Podium Perfect in McLaren Trophy America

  • Deniz Teoman and Jeff Cook Co-Drive to Am Class Win Saturday in No. 5 GMG Racing McLaren Artura Trophy
  • Randy Highland and New Co-Driver Michael O’Brien Third in Pro-Am Saturday in the No. 7 GMG Racing McLaren Artura Trophy
  • Competitive GMG Racing McLaren Trophy America Weekend at the Grand Prix of Miami Formula 1 Race Includes Overall Position and Top-Two Friday Practice Sweep

MIAMI, Florida (May 4, 2026) – Reigning McLaren Trophy America Champions GMG Racing scored its first race win of the 2026 season Saturday with the Am-class duo of Deniz Teoman and Jeff Cook in the No. 5 GMG Racing McLaren Artura Trophy in a Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 support race at the Miami International Autodrome.

The Am winners, who also finished second outright after leading the first half of the race overall from the pole position, were joined in victory lane by teammates Randy Highland and debuting team driver Michael O’Brien, who finished third in Pro-Am in the No. 7 GMG Racing McLaren Artura Trophy. The race win and P3 showing added to GMG Racing’s haul of four victory lane visits in March’s season-opening race weekend at Sonoma Raceway to give the GMG Racing duo a six-for-six “podium perfect” run in the year’s first three races.

A second and final 40-minute McLaren Trophy race was scheduled for Sunday morning but was cancelled due to heavy rain in the Miami area. A makeup race on one of this year’s remaining scheduled race weekends will be announced in the near future.

“The entire GMG Racing team, from our drivers to the engineers to the crew, did an amazing job all weekend in Miami,” said GMG Racing Team Principal and Founder James Sofronas. “It was apparent early on as we were fast out of the gate in practice one, and despite the team having several back to back weekends, they were as ready as ever and it showed. Looking ahead, we knew the weather could impact our races, and that we might have only one or a limited shot at putting up some good results, so everybody on the team was ready for it. From going one-two overall in Friday practice, winning the overall pole and then leading Saturday overall and scoring the first win of the season was just fantastic. Deniz, Jeff, Randy and our new teammate Michael, who is super quick and experienced, all quickly gelled and we left Miami with some hardware, even more momentum and remain podium perfect on the season. We are already looking forward to the next race at Road Atlanta.”

O’Brien (center above) joins GMG Racing as the reigning McLaren Trophy Europe Pro Champion. He won six races as part of eight total podium showings in last year’s title-winning season in McLaren Trophy Europe. He also made some early McLaren Trophy history by sweeping all eight possible pole positions last year in Europe.

“It was a truly fantastic debut weekend with GMG Racing and my teammates Randy, Deniz and Jeff,” O’Brien said. “We were right where we needed to be from the off, and Randy really drove superbly throughout. The first race was really about points on the board for us, so to pick up another podium was awesome. We put all of our eggs into the race two basket, for which the weather had other ideas about, but we’re preparing already to fight for the top step in Road Atlanta!”

O’Brien joined Cook in the GMG Racing top-two sweep in Friday’s practice. Cook topped the time sheets with a lap time of 1:57.595 to just edge O’Brien by a close 0.274 seconds.

Cook continued the strong pace straight into qualifying when he captured not only the Am pole but secured the overall quickest lap of the session with an even better time of 1:57.328. He led from the start in Saturday’s race and the No. 5 only lost the lead when they were just edged out of the pits by the all-Pro entry that went on to take the overall victory.

Teoman was tasked with bringing the No. 5 to the finish line, delivering one of his best performances to date as he held off a late challenge to secure second overall and the Am-class victory. Teoman and Cook reached the top step of the podium in just their second event weekend and third race with GMG Racing.

Rounds 5 and 6 of this year’s McLaren Trophy America season will take the second-year series to and through the halfway point of the 10 race and five weekend championship at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, June 12 – 14.

Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing Team Winward Racing Secures a Pair of Top Five Finishes at the IMSA Monterey SportsCar Championship Weekend

Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing Team Winward Racing Secured Top Five Finishes Across a Pair of IMSA Racing Series Saturday and Sunday at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca to Remain in the Championship Battles in both IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar GT Daytona (GTD) and IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Grand Sport (GS). Two-Time and Reigning IMSA GTD Champions Russell Ward, Philip Ellis and the No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Team Finished Fifth in Sunday’s WeatherTech Championship Race a Day after Bryce Ward and Daan Arrow Co-Drove to Fourth in Pilot Challenge GS in the No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4.

MONTEREY, California – Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing team Winward Racing stayed tight in the fight for one championship and moved back into contention for another season title with a pair of top five finishes in the IMSA Monterey SportsCar Championship race weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Bryce Ward and Daan Arrow rebounded for a hard-earned fourth place finish in Saturday’s two-hour IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race to remain close to the top of the top-tier Grand Sport (GS) class point standings. On Sunday, two-time and reigning IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar GT Daytona (GTD) champions Russell Ward and Philip Ellis secured their best finish since a season-opening victory in the Rolex 24 At Daytona to move up to fourth in the GTD team and driver championship standings.

Meanwhile, the No. 24 Murillo Racing with P1 Motor Club Mercedes-AMG GT4 team of first-year co-drivers Aurora Straus and Kenny Murillo turned in a solid performance in what was essentially the pairing’s second race together in the team’s return to GS competition. Although a fuel strategy gamble ultimately came up just short, starting driver Straus improved several positions in her race-opening stint while Murillo ran in the top 10 early in his driving shift to the checkered flag.

Russell Ward and Ellis battled in or near the GTD top five for the entire two-hour and 40-minute WeatherTech race on Sunday. January’s Rolex 24 win for the 2024 and 2025 GTD team and driver champions moved this season off to a great start only to see the team knocked out of the following race at the 12 Hours of Sebring early after getting caught up in a contact incident between other competitors.

Despite another disappointing finish in April’s Grand Prix of Long Beach, Ward, Ellis and the No. 57 squad have moved to fourth in the GTD team and driver standings after Sunday’s fifth place finish. With 1,080 points in both championships, the No. 57 drivers and teams are just 23 points shy of the third-place competitors.

After third and second place finishes in the Daytona and Sebring season-opening races, Bryce Ward and Arrow have been in the Pilot Challenge GS championship conversation all season. Another podium, if not a victory, looked promising in the opening hour of Saturday’s race. Ward advanced from his 10th place starting spot into top five contention only to be spun out by another competitor in the fast downhill run exiting the famous Laguna Seca Corkscrew turn section.

Ward lost additional time waiting to safely rejoin the field but then began the No. 57’s recovery with a fast run of final laps before pitting to hand off to Arrow. From there, Arrow staged his third-straight closing-stint charge to the front in as many races to salvage a solid fourth-place finish and the valuable points that go with it.

With three of the season’s 10 races completed, Ward, Arrow and the No. 57 Mercedes-AMG GT4 team have 900 points, only a scant 30 points shy of the current GS team and driver championship leaders.

The Murillo P1 team took just its second checkered flag of the three races run to date after being eliminated from the year’s second race at Sebring in a multi-car accident as the green flag dropped. Undaunted, the No. 24 team and drivers continued their return to the competitive GS ranks at Laguna Seca with a strong run. Straus gained half a dozen positions to start the race while Murillo ran inside the top 10 before being forced to pit for a splash of fuel in the race’s closing minutes. Despite the near miss on the fuel calculations, Murillo still crossed the finish line on the lead lap just over 50 seconds behind the race winner.

Next up for Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing in IMSA competition is the second and final four-hour IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race of the year at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, June 5 – 7. The IMSA WeatherTech GTD Championship resumes with the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen at Watkins Glen International, June 25 – 28.

“It was a pretty tough day. We didn’t seem to have the pace that we normally have. We will look and see what we are missing, even in the strategy. I think there’s some improvements we could have made all around in qualifying, strategy and the pace of the car. A fifth is a good result, and it is good points, but I think that was the maximum for the day. Tire degradation was a little more challenging than previous years, but I don’t know if that is with the track kind of wearing in or from the new tires. That is usually a place where we are not afraid to be, but it was a fun drive and a good race. I am really looking forward to Watkins Glen, it is one of my favorite places and back in the endurance rounds. We are going to welcome back our buddy Indy (Dontje) and go have some fun.”

Russell Ward, Driver – No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3

“I had a great race but it’s just a shame that I got turned around out of the corkscrew. There was an incident in front of us, which checked me up, and the guy behind just ran up into our backend and turned me around. Then I was just too scared to get back onto the track because I was looking right at a train of TCR cars heading downhill and right for me. I just waited and waited and waited because it felt like it was completely blind and really, I was. I just couldn’t do anything, but finally everything was clear and I got back out there. I had a great, great time catching the TCR cars and passing them and only had two between me and the back of the GS field when I pit. Once again, the pit crew really, really stepped it up. I think we picked up five positions in the pits, which was incredible, and hats off to them. They’ve saved us so many times this year, and Daan had a fantastic recovery drive. If the crew can continue to do that, and we can continue to drive the car safely and get it home, I think the championship is well within our grasp.”

Bryce Ward, Driver – No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4

“I think generally I’m very happy despite this being a bit of a bad day for us. We had a fantastic start from Bryce, who was moving up, but then he got spun and dropped all the way to the back. He recovered, which was fantastic, and we finished fourth from where we were. I’m still learning, and I think I could have done a better job on Saturday, but I think we can be very happy and proud of what we can do when we put it all together. I think that is going to be the next step. Other than the races I have been to last year in Virginia, Indianapolis and Road Atlanta, everything is new for me this season. We’re looking at the bigger picture, the goal is clear, and we’ve had a fourth, a third, and a second, so we know what’s next! We need to drive smart, and we’re going for more than just wins, we’re playing the long-run championship game too.”

Daan Arrow, Driver – No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4

“This was really only our second race in the big scheme of things for Murillo Racing and the P1 Motor Club as a team after getting knocked out of Sebring before we even had a chance to take the green flag. So, even though we have, I guess, about eight years of history with the Mercedes-AMG GT4 it has been a while. We’re still knocking off the rust, so I think today, up until the last two laps, it went really well. Our Mercedes-AMG GT4 itself was totally on rails. I couldn’t have asked for a better car here at Laguna Seca, and the team was awesome. We made up a couple of positions in pitlane, which is really all you can ask for. Kenny was great, and everything worked out really well, but at the of the day, the strategy cards didn’t play out in our favor. We took a gamble there would be another yellow at some point in the last hour of the race, but we ended up ultimately losing. That’s just how it goes sometimes, but all’s well that ends well, and at the end of the day our car is competitive. We’re going to make the most of that at the next race.”

Diesel ECM Maintenance Tips That Extend Engine Life and Protect Performance

Image by LEEROY Agency from Pixabay

Want your diesel engine to keep running strong for years to come?

The ECM (Engine Control Module) is your truck’s brain. It tells the fuel injection system when to spray and how much, timing, emissions and just about everything else that matters. When it starts to slip, the whole engine slips with it.

The thing is… Most truck owners only pay attention to their ECM when something is wrong. By then you are already losing money on downtime.

In this post, you will learn the precise ECM maintenance tips to prolong engine life – and the ECM failure symptoms to look for.

Let’s jump in!

Here’s What’s Inside:

  • Why ECM Maintenance Matters For Diesel Engines
  • Common ECM Failure Symptoms To Watch Out For
  • 6x Diesel ECM Maintenance Tips
  • When To Replace Your ECM

Why ECM Maintenance Matters For Diesel Engines

Diesel engines are rugged. But the ECM that controls them is a sensitive electronic system — and electronics don’t like heat, vibration, moisture or voltage spikes.

Industry statistics reveal unplanned downtime now averages $500–$850 per day per truck. A single ECM failure can put your truck out of service for days.

And here is what most owners don’t realise…

ECM faults are gradual. A rough idle here. A strange shift there. Drivers compensate for weeks. By the time the engine actually stalls, it’s too late. That’s why recognizing early ECM failure symptoms is crucial.

When you find yourself in the market to shop for a replacement unit, a reliable diesel ECM inventory of new, used and rebuilt units saves you days over waiting on a dealer order. The right unit, properly programmed, will have your truck back on the road quickly.

Common ECM Failure Symptoms To Watch Out For

ECM issues almost never present themselves as one clear symptom. They present themselves as small annoyances that gradually get worse.

Watch for these warning signs:

  • Engine light that doesn’t go away — even after the original fault is repaired
  • Poor fuel economy — the ECM isn’t optimising fuel delivery
  • Hard starting or no-start conditions — engine cranks but doesn’t fire
  • Power loss — sluggish acceleration and weak throttle response
  • Rough idle and misfires — especially after a cold start
  • Random stalling — engine shuts off for no reason while driving
  • Transmission shifting issues — late, rough or slipping shifts

If you see two or more of these, it’s likely your ECM is to blame.

6x Diesel ECM Maintenance Tips That Actually Work

Now to the good stuff. These tips genuinely keep an ECM healthy.

1. Keep The Battery & Electrical System In Top Shape

The ECM requires stable voltage. Period. Loose terminals, corroded grounds and a weak battery cause voltage spikes that fry ECM components over time. Electrical spikes are one of the main causes of ECM failure on heavy duty diesels.

Here is what you should be doing:

  • Check battery terminals every month for corrosion
  • Test the alternator output (13.8 to 14.4 volts)
  • Inspect ground straps for rust and tightness
  • Replace weak batteries before they kill your ECM

A bad battery is way cheaper to replace than a fried ECM.

2. Protect Against Moisture & Corrosion

Moisture is the silent killer of diesel ECMs. Corrosion and water damage are the leading causes of ECM failure. Once moisture makes its way into the housing or connector pins, you are on borrowed time.

Here’s how to keep moisture out:

  • Inspect the ECM housing seals every service interval
  • Check connector pins for green corrosion or white powder
  • Apply dielectric grease to connector terminals
  • Never pressure wash directly at the ECM area

If you live in a humid climate or close to the ocean, this is twice as important. Salt air can quickly ruin electronics.

3. Use Quality Fuel & Change Filters On Time

Bad fuel does not only damage your injectors. It also damages your ECM. When fuel quality is off, the ECM compensates heavily and fault codes begin to pile up.

Change fuel filters as scheduled. Purchase fuel at high volume, fast turnover pumps. Use a good fuel additive during the winter season. Basic things that extend your ECM’s life.

4. Watch Out For The Fuel Solenoid

The one that takes owners by surprise. The electronic fuel solenoid is a major culprit in ECM failures. When corroded or shorted, it pumps a spike directly into the ECM.

The classic sign: truck runs fine, you shut it off, then it won’t restart. That usually means the starter shorted the ECM through the fuel solenoid wiring.

Check the solenoid and wiring at each major service. If corrosion is present, replace it before it kills your ECM.

5. Don’t Ignore Fault Codes

Each fault code has a story to tell. Many owners clear them and continue driving — that is a big mistake. Pull codes regularly with a scan tool. Even codes that “don’t seem important” may reveal sensors that are working the ECM too hard.

As reported by the American Transportation Research Institute, repair and maintenance costs are now at $0.202 per mile, and that number continues to rise. Early code catching is one of the least expensive methods to help to keep that number down.

6. Keep Software Updated

This one is easy to ignore but is more important than most realize. ECM manufacturers release reflashes to correct known bugs and to tune up fuel maps. Old software can lead to strange intermittent problems to drive you nuts.

Have your shop check for ECM updates every major service. Most are no charge or minimal fee.

When To Replace Your ECM

Occasionally, maintenance is not enough. ECMs do wear out — most fail after 3 to 5 years of hard use depending on the engine and conditions.

It’s time to replace your ECM if:

  • Multiple sensors test good but codes keep returning
  • The module has visible water damage or burnt circuits
  • A reflash won’t complete or the ECM won’t communicate
  • You’ve replaced wiring and connectors with no improvement

A new ECM from the dealer will run well over $1,500 plus programming. Used and rebuilt units are a great middle ground — just buy from a source that tests every unit before shipping.

Final Thoughts

ECM maintenance is not difficult. It is a matter of clean power, dry connections, good fuel and paying attention to early warning signs.

To recap:

  • Watch for ECM failure symptoms like rough idle, hard starts and poor economy
  • Keep the battery and electrical system clean and tight
  • Protect the ECM from moisture and corrosion

Trips Casino Promo Code Canada

Trips Casino is one of those brands where the “best” promo code depends on the offer you actually want to use. There is no single evergreen code that always gives Canadian players the strongest value. Some routes favour a classic welcome bonus, while others are built around weekly free spins or smaller reload offers that can be easier to clear.

If you want the short version, T1 is still the closest thing to the main Trips casino online promo code. But in real use, Friday free spins, Tuesday reloads, and midweek bonus drops can be more practical than the headline welcome offer, especially if you care about lower wagering and more realistic deposit sizes.

SLOTS30No deposit free spins30 free spins on selected slotsNo depositVaries by exclusive routeNew players who want a no-deposit test first

Trips promo terms can change by landing page, campaign, and account route. Always confirm the active offer in the cashier before depositing.

Which Trips Casino Promo Code Is Actually Best?

If you want the most predictable answer, T1 is still the safest code to know because it acts like the default welcome route most players expect to see first. It is the best fit if you want a standard first-deposit bonus rather than a short-term reload or a limited free spins drop.

That said, the best value is not always the welcome code:

  • Best baseline welcome route: T1
  • Best lower-wager option: FRIDAY150
  • Best for smaller reload deposits: RELOAD50
  • Best recurring free spins route: WEDFS1 / WEDFS2 / WEDFS3

That is the real Trips angle. The strongest promo code is often the one you can clear comfortably, not the one with the biggest headline number.

How to Use a Trips Casino Promo Code

  1. Create your Trips Casino account.
  2. Open the cashier or deposit page.
  3. Choose your payment method and deposit amount.
  4. Enter the promo code in the bonus or coupon field.
  5. Make sure the bonus details appear before confirming.
  6. Check wagering, game contribution, and expiry rules before you play.

If the bonus does not show in the cashier after you enter the code, do not deposit yet. Trips often runs multiple promo paths at the same time, and the wrong landing page can block the offer you expected.

The Main Trips Casino Welcome Bonus

The most reliable baseline for Canadian players is still the T1 welcome route. The common version is 110% + 120 free spins with a minimum deposit equivalent to 20 in local currency, often attached to a 45x deposit + bonus wagering requirement.

The important part is not just the bonus size. It is how the terms behave. A bigger-looking welcome package can still be weaker in practice than a smaller weekly code with softer wagering.

Trips Casino Weekly Promo Codes That Can Be Better Than the Welcome Bonus

Trips often feels stronger as an ongoing promo casino than a pure welcome-bonus casino. That is where many players get more practical value.

Friday Free Spins Codes

Trips regularly runs a Friday free spins ladder for players who want a deposit-based free spins route instead of a large match bonus:

  • FRIDAY25: deposit at least C$30 for 25 free spins
  • FRIDAY70: deposit at least C$75 for 70 free spins
  • FRIDAY150: deposit at least C$150 for 150 free spins

These Friday offers are attractive because winnings from the free spins can be tied to 15x wagering, which is much softer than the main welcome structure.

Tuesday Reload Bonus

RELOAD50 is one of the more practical recurring Trips bonuses for Canadian players:

  • 50% up to 225 + 50 free spins
  • C$45 minimum deposit
  • 40x wagering on bonus money and free spin winnings

It is not the lowest-wager offer on the site, but it is one of the more realistic reload bonuses if you do not want to chase larger deposit thresholds.

Wednesday Free Spins Codes

Trips also regularly shows a Wednesday free spins ladder built around three deposit tiers:

  • WEDFS1: deposit 50 for 75 free spins at 0.10 each
  • WEDFS2: deposit 100 for 75 free spins at 0.20 each
  • WEDFS3: deposit 250 for 75 free spins at 0.50 each

These offers are usually tied to 30x wagering and are mainly useful if you prefer predictable weekly free spins over a one-time welcome package.

Is There a Trips Casino No Deposit Promo Code?

Sometimes, yes, but not as a stable evergreen offer. Trips has appeared with limited no-deposit and sign-up routes, including a SLOTS30 style offer that gives 30 free spins on selected slots without a deposit.

The key point is simple: treat no-deposit Trips promo codes as limited or exclusive offers, not as a permanent Canada-wide bonus that is always available.

Do Trips Promo Codes Work on Roulette, Live Casino, or Only Slots?

Most Trips promo codes are still slot-led first. That includes many of the weekly free spins offers and some of the best-looking short-term promos.

The broader T1-style welcome route can sometimes be tied to a wider game mix, but that does not mean roulette or live casino will count fully toward wagering. In practice, roulette and live games often contribute partially, heavily reduced, or not at all.

Before you deposit, check:

  • whether roulette is eligible at all;
  • whether live casino counts at a reduced rate;
  • whether the code is slot-only;
  • whether the free spins are locked to one game.

Common Trips Casino Bonus Traps to Avoid

  • Assuming one code is always best: the strongest code changes by day, landing page, and campaign.
  • Ignoring wagering: 15x free spin winnings is very different from 45x deposit + bonus.
  • Missing expiry windows: some weekly codes expire quickly.
  • Skipping max cashout rules: free spins offers can cap withdrawals.
  • Using a slot promo for roulette: always check contribution rules first.

Conclusiont

The best Trips Casino promo code in Canada is not always the biggest one. T1 is still the main welcome code to know, but the better practical value often comes from FRIDAY150, RELOAD50, or the Wednesday free spins codes if you want softer wagering or a smaller deposit. At Trips, the smartest bonus is the one that matches how you actually play, not the one with the loudest headline.

Katherine Legge Returns to NASCAR Cup Series at Watkins Glen

Katherine Legge will make her first NASCAR Cup Series start of the 2026 season over Mother’s Day weekend, piloting the No. 78 e.l.f. Cosmetics Chevrolet for Live Fast Motorsports in the Go Bowling at The Glen event.

The start marks Legge’s return to Watkins Glen International—one of the most technical and revered road courses in North America—where she brings extensive experience across multiple disciplines, including 10 previous starts and a race win.

Legge enters the weekend following a milestone 2025 campaign in NASCAR, where she became the first woman to qualify for a Cup Series race since Danica Patrick’s 2012 debut, and the first woman in seven years to start a Cup race.

Across 14 starts spanning ARCA, the Xfinity Series (now O’Reilly), and Cup competition, she recorded two top-20 finishes at the Cup level and was the highest-finishing rookie in her debut race.

Her return to the historic upstate New York circuit carries added significance. In 2017, Legge claimed victory in the Six Hours of The Glen, winning from pole position in the GTD class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The Mother’s Day start comes amid a busy stretch for Legge. Just last week, she successfully completed her veteran refresher test as she prepares for her fifth start in the Indianapolis 500, driving the No. 11 e.l.f. Cosmetics Chevrolet.

She will be the only woman in the field when official practice begins May 12.

The 100-lap, 245-mile race at Watkins Glen International will air live on FOX Sports 1 at 3:00 PM ET on Sunday, May 10, with practice scheduled for Saturday, May 9 from 1:00–2:00 PM ET and qualifying from 2:10–3:00 PM ET.

“We’ve been looking closely at where to start my NASCAR Cup schedule this year, and Watkins Glen made a lot of sense from both a timing and performance standpoint. This track has always been a favorite of mine—it’s fast, technical, and unforgiving. To be back here in the Cup car, especially with e.l.f. on board again this year, makes it really special. It’s a great way to bring together my road course roots with my newfound love for stock car racing.”

BJ McLeod, Owner, Live Fast Motorsports
“We enjoyed a lot of success together in 2025, and we are looking forward to building on that. Katherine brings a lot of experience, especially on road courses. Why Reflective Conspicuity Tape is Crucial for Your Vehicle?

Reflective conspicuity tape plays an indispensable role in automotive safety, significantly enhancing visibility and reducing collision risks, particularly under low-light conditions. Its importance extends beyond basic illumination, offering comprehensive benefits for drivers of all vehicle types, including bikes and motorcycles.

The Beginning of Reflective Materials

In 1933, British engineer Percy Shaw observed the phenomenon of cat pupils reflecting car light on rainy nights, which inspired the idea of applying retroreflection to road safety. In 1937, 3M developed the first glass-bead reflective tape, and Reflexite invented micro-prismatic reflective tape in the 1960’s. Since then, the reflective sheeting material industry has undergone rapid development in the road safety field.

Key Benefits of Conspicuity Tape for Your Vehicle

Enhanced Nighttime and Low-Light Visibility

Utilizing retroreflective technology, reflective tape brightly reflects light from other vehicles’ headlights. This allows your car, truck, trailer, bikes, or motorcycles to be detected earlier and more clearly by drivers behind or alongside you during night, rain, fog, dawn, or dusk conditions. The increased reaction time for following drivers is a critical factor in preventing rear-end and side-swipe collisions.

Clear Delineation of Vehicle Contour and Size

Especially for larger vehicles like trucks and trailers, applying reflective tape to designated areas (such as the rear and sides) effectively outlines the vehicle’s complete shape and dimensions. This helps other road users accurately judge the vehicle’s size, length, and position, minimizing accidents caused by misjudging distances or clearance in tight spaces.

Increased Safety for All Road Users

By making your vehicle more conspicuous, you contribute to overall road safety for you and others around you. Pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers of smaller vehicles can spot a properly marked vehicle from a greater distance, allowing for safer interactions and maneuvers.

Choosing the Right Reflective Tape for Your Optimal Safety

Suggested Brands to Ensure Durability, Performance, and Long-term Value

Select high-quality, durable reflective tapes from reputable manufacturers such as 3M, Avery Dennison, Oralite, or Nikkalite, and consider other reliable manufacturers, such as Toptend, which offer cost-effective reflective tapes that meet essential industrial standards. Toptend supplies various grades of reflective sheeting, conspicuity tapes, and also a reflective tape online check tool, to help you make informed choices.. The above brands are engineered to withstand harsh weather, strong UV exposure, and wear in long-term applications.

Selection Criteria for High-quality Reflective Tape

Material type

Acrylic materials are always preferred for their durability and excellent weather resistance.

Cheaper types like PET or PVC are not recommended due to their lower durability under the sun. However, for low-budget or short-term use over months, the cheaper options can also be considered.

It is recommended to choose prismatic rather than glass-bead technology to ensure maximum reflectivity.

Certification and Standards

Confirm that the product has passed industrial certification and complies with local traffic safety standards like DOT-C2 or ECE-104, as required in your country or market.

Durability

The service life of high-quality conspicuity tape brands such as 3M, Avery Dennison, Orafol Oralite, Nikkalite, and Toptend is expected to be at least 8-10 years outdoors.

The cheaper options, like PVC or PET, can only last for months, or at most 1 year or so.

Specifications

The standard width is 5cm, and the standard roll length is 45.7 meters, while smaller rolls are often supplied at retail shops. The larger the area you use for your cars, trucks, bikes, or motorcycles, the better for increased visibility at night or in other crucial weather conditions.

Proper Application and Maintenance are Key

Follow manufacturer guidelines for placement on your vehicle’s rear, sides, and critical edges to maximize visibility while the following are suggested to extend the product lifespan.

1. Apply reflective tape only to a clean, dry, and smooth surface, free from dust, dirt, rust, oil, grease, and moisture.

2. When applying reflective tape, avoid excessively hot or cold conditions to ensure optimal adhesion and performance, and cut around rivets, seams, or similar areas in the application.

3. Because the backing glue is a pressure-sensitive adhesive, apply firm pressure across the entire surface of the reflective tape after placement to ensure full adhesion.

4. Reflective tape bonds effectively with metal substrates, but exhibits reduced adhesion on plastics due to material compatibility limitations. For instance:

4.1 Polyethylene (PE) typically requires adhesives specially formulated for low surface energy polymers to achieve reliable bonding.

4.2 PVC may experience adhesive degradation from plasticizer migration or UV exposure.

5. Allow a minimum 24-hour curing period after application to achieve full bond strength.

6. Avoid High-pressure washing and prolonged immersion, as both can compromise adhesive integrity.

7. Avoid harsh detergents (use mild detergent or water), chemical solvents, continuous exposure to moisture or rain, abrasion, other mechanical damage, water soaking, snow burial or any other burial.

8. Large fluctuations in temperature can cause the tape to expand and contract, causing cracks, peeling or lifting.

Conclusion‌

Investing in quality reflective conspicuity tape is a simple, proactive measure that drastically improves your safety on the road. It makes your vehicle more visible in challenging conditions, directly reducing the likelihood of accidents. Whether opting for premium brands or vetted economical solutions, ensuring your vehicle is adequately marked is a responsible step toward safer journeys for yourself and others.
