Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Dover Advance

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – 5-hour ENERGY 200 ADVANCE

Team:              No. 6 RickyvsTrevor.com Ford Mustang

Crew Chief:        Mike Kelley

THE QUOTES

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., No. 6 RickyvsTrevor.com Ford Mustang:  “I like Dover.  I was kind of worried about it at the beginning of the year going in just because I haven’t ran real well on the concrete tracks but we seem to get a good handle at Bristol on the concrete and also Nashville, which has been one of my toughest tracks.  I feel like we’ve got a little bit better grip on the concrete than what I thought we would have coming into this race it so I’m looking forward to it.”

Mike Kelley, Crew Chief, No. 6 RickyvsTrevor.com Ford Mustang: “Dover is like any other track we go to.  It’s a high-speed track.  The corners are the same on both ends but different than anywhere we go. It’s kind of like dropping off a 10-story building down into the corners and it takes a good comfort level.  You’ve got to have a car that lands well but also turns the corner.  You’ve got to take care of your car and keep it off the concrete and be around at the end. Generally we go there close to the Bristol setup and I’m really excited about that.  We ran really well at Bristol in the spring and hopefully we’ll be able to put everything together and get Ricky a good finish.”
