Deltran Corporation to sponsor Mikey Kile’s No. 30 Turner Motorsports Chevrolet Impala in upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series events

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 31, 2011) – Turner Motorsports is pleased to announce the addition of Deltran Corporation to the sponsorship line-up of its No. 30 Chevrolet. Mikey Kile will pilot the Battery Tender/Muc-Off Impala in multiple Nationwide Series events, beginning this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. For this weekend’s STP 300, the Battery Tender Chevrolet will feature Sears Auto Centers. Battery Tender will celebrate its debut in Sears Auto Centers in conjunction with Father’s Day weekend later in June.

Kile joined Turner Motorsports’ all-star driver line-up in April, making his debut at Nashville Superspeedway. He is scheduled to make at least six more starts in 2011 for the powerhouse team. The Westlake, La.-native cut his teeth racing go-karts at local tracks throughout his home state. He made his NASCAR debut in 2009, driving a partial schedule in the Camping World Truck Series with Brad Kesolowski Racing. In six starts he accumulated three top-15 finishes. Additionally, he competed in eight ARCA Racing Series events, posting an impressive four top-10 finishes. In 2010 he returned to run the full ARCA Racing Series schedule with Venturini Motorsports, capturing his first series victory at Michigan International Speedway along with two pole awards, seven top-five and 15 top-10 finishes.

“I am excited to have the opportunity to represent Deltran Corporation on and off the track. They are a great organization with reliable products and I am proud to have their support,” stated Kile. “Turner Motorsports is a wonderful team with incredible personnel and equipment. I can’t wait to get out on the track at Chicagoland Speedway and bring home a solid finish for both Turner Motorsports and Deltran Corporation in the No. 30 Battery Tender/Muc-Off Chevrolet Impala.”

The No. 30 Chevrolet will sport the colors of two of Deltran Corporation’s products, Battery Tender and Muc-Off. The Deland, Fla.-based company’s commitment to excellence, performance and customer satisfaction is evident in their products. Since 1989, Battery Tender has been a trusted name in automotive battery charger and maintenance systems. From its beginnings as a premium bicycle care product line, Muc-Off has grown into an international leader in bicycle, motorcycle, automotive and marine care product market. Deltran Corporation is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a future star like Kile.

“We have been involved in many areas of the racing world and we are thrilled to make the jump to NASCAR competition with Mikey Kile and Turner Motorsports. We are excited to watch Mikey behind the wheel of the Battery Tender/Muc-Off Chevrolet, and to have the opportunity to partner with Turner Motorsports,” said Michael Prelec Jr., Manager of Specialty Markets for Deltran Corporation.
