Brad Keselowski Closes Out List of Sprint Summer Showdown Finalists
Has Chance at $3 Million Payout on Labor Day Weekend in Atlanta
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – August 27, 2011 – With his win in Saturday’s IRWIN Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Brad Keselowski closes out the list of qualified finalists who can earn a $3 million payout in the Sprint Summer Showdown presented by HTC EVOT 3D.
If Keselowski can also win the AdvoCare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Labor Day weekend, he will claim the Sprint Summer Showdown presented by HTC EVO 3D title and win $1 million for himself, $1 million for his designated charity, Brad Keselowski’s Checkered Flag Foundation, and $1 million dollars for two lucky race fans.
Later this week, a fan will be randomly selected from the pool of entrants who correctly picked Keselowski to win the IRWIN Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway at sprint.com/speed. That lucky fan will enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to Atlanta Motor Speedway and be there in person to see whether Keselowski can win at Atlanta.
Since he won two of the five qualifying races, Keselowski will be paired with two fans (one from his win at Pocono Raceway and one from his win at Bristol). If he wins the Atlanta event, the fans will split the $1 million fan portion equally.
One lucky fan was also chosen after each of the four previous qualifying races (at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Pocono Raceway, Watkins Glen International and Michigan International Speedway), and all five selected fans will be at the Atlanta race to cheer on their respective drivers. If any of those drivers win the AdvoCare 500, they will claim the Sprint Summer Showdown presented by HTC EVO 3D title and the $3 million payout.
