Greg Biffle, No. 16 3M Sherwin Williams Ford (Qualified 1st) “I think that will hold up. The track has a decent amount of grip and I was just a little off all day on our qualifying runs. I hadn’t been real comfortable with the car yet but right there the car stuck really nice. You always wish you could do it again. It will be a good starting spot for us.”

Carl Edwards, No. 99 Aflac Ford (Qualified 2nd) “It felt like a pretty good lap. I hope everyone interviews me quickly while I am still on the pole. There are a lot of fast cars to go. This will be a good starting spot for us. In practice we struggled a little bit and agreed that a top-10 starting spot would be great and I think we will get that, so that is good.”

David Ragan, No. 6 UPS Ford (Qualified 13th) “We always want a pole every time in qualifying. I wish we had a little bit more speed. We just missed it a little bit. We were a little free on both corners of the lap and I just wasn’t able to get to the throttle as soon as I needed to. I feel like it is a good race car. We are going to be in the top-15 or so. I think we will be alright on Sunday but you always wish you could qualify better.”

Travis Kvapil, No. 38 Long John Silver’s Ford (Qualified 36th) “That was good. Obviously it is nowhere near where we need to be as far as the overall feel but for us it’s the best lap we ran all day and we picked up a couple tenths from practice. We really have a hard time getting through three and four. My car is too tight down there. A lot of it is the wind but we are all battling the same thing. We were a little too free with the back of the car but yet still a little tight through three and four. The guys did a great job and worked really hard on it to get it just enough speed to get the job done.”
