Daytona 500 Winner Brings Home Roush Fenway’s 299th Win
FT. WORTH, Texas (Nov. 6, 2011) – With his first career Nationwide Series victory in yesterday’s NNS race at Texas Motor Speedway, Roush Fenway Racing’s Trevor Bayne became the 17th driver to hoist a NASCAR trophy in victory lane for RFR.
Bayne joins a list of some of NASCAR’s biggest and most accomplished names, and his win marks the 299th NASCAR victory for Roush Fenway. The team will look to bring home its historic 300th win in today’s AAA Texas 500 Sprint Cup race at TMS.
Roush Fenway has won 17 NASCAR races in 2011, with all but one of its seven entries having visited victory lane this season. The team currently leads the point standings in both the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series point standings.
