A total of 16 Team Chevy drivers will start the Kobalt Tools 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Phoenix International Raceway, Round 35 of the 2011 season.
Three Team Chevy drivers will start the 312-lap/312-mile/500K race in the top-10:
·      Mark Martin, No. 5 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet – 4th
·      Jamie McMurray, No. 1 McDonald’s Chevrolet – 6th
·      Tony Stewart, No. 14 Mobil1/Office Depot Chevrolet – 8th
CHEVROLET ON THE TRACK—PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY:
·      A Chevrolet driver has won 15 of the 30 total races and 13 of the last 15 NSCS races at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR)
·      Chevy has 15 poles at PIR
·      Team Chevy drivers have scored 70 top-five finishes and 135 top-10 finishes at PIR
·      A Chevrolet has led 3,758 laps (40% of 9,375 possible) at PIR
·      Jimmie Johnson, No. 48 Lowe’s/KOBALT Tools Chevrolet had four (4) PIR wins
·      Jeff Burton, No. 31 Caterpillar Chevrolet, has won twice (2) at PIR
