Zest Announces “Race to Get Zestfully Clean” Facebook Contest

[media-credit name=”regotrading.com” align=”alignright” width=”127″][/media-credit]CONCORD, N.C. (April 27, 2012) — As part of Zest’s sponsorship of driver Matt Kenseth, they have launched a “Race to Get Zestfully Clean with the No. 17” Facebook contest for NASCAR fans.

The promotion focuses on getting fans of Roush Fenway Racing and 2012 DAYTONA 500® Champion, Matt Kenseth, to create buzz about the Zest® brand using Facebook and social media outlets.  Fans will compete to earn “Zest Clean Points” and then have the opportunity to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences and prizes for the three remaining races of the brand’s 2012 primary sponsorship of Kenseth.

Fans will have the chance to play along and earn Zest Clean Points by going to www.facebook.com/zestsoap. Points will be awarded based on likes, comments, and posts on Zest’s Facebook page.  If a post is creative and engages the community, additional Zest Clean Points will be awarded. A leaderboard displays the daily standings, in a similar fashion to the leaderboard for the Sprint Cup Series.

Zest Clean Points will be given throughout the day, and the leaderboard will be updated on average between every 4 to 12 hours.  The daily limits for the contest per person are: three comments (in reply to any post of Zest or other fans), one post to the Zest Facebook wall and four likes on the Zest Facebook wall.

“We are thrilled with the positive fan loyalty for Matt Kenseth and wanted to provide them and all NASCAR race fans an opportunity to participate in a fun contest”, said Nina Riley, Vice-President of Marketing for High Ridge Brands, the owner of Zest bar soap and body wash.

Prizes will be awarded before each Zest sponsored race which will include the Sprint Cup events at Darlington in May, Daytona in July, and Kansas in October.  The leaderboard will be reset after each race, so fans will have a new chance to move up the leaderboard for each race payout.

Participants will have a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime experience as well as some unique authentic race team prizes on behalf of Zest brands. The once-in-a-lifetime experiences include tickets to attend a NASCAR race, a “meet & greet” with Matt Kenseth, airfare and hotel. The unique authentic race team prizes include a replica Zest driver’s helmet autographed by Kenseth, team owner Jack Roush and crew chief Jimmy Fennig; apersonalized and autographed Zest crew shirt, an autographed Zest crew hat, or a 1:64 sized Zest die-cast replica of the No. 17 Ford Fusion.
