Sather Ready To Take On Iowa Speedway

[media-credit name=”MAKE Motorsports” align=”alignright” width=”144″]Natalie Sather[/media-credit]North Dakota native, Natalie Sather has teamed up with MAKE Motorsports for the July 14th running of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Iowa 200 at Iowa Speedway. The 200 lap race is centered in Newton, Iowa where Midwestern race fans quench their need for speed.

Sather said, “Iowa Speedway is a great track, and I am really excited about my first race there this July.”

Sather will be wheeling the No.50 MAKE Motorsports Chevrolet at the 7/8 mile Speedway. The five year old track is nestled in the heart of farm country where racing fans alike have embraced the track’s newly formed roots.

As the Iowa 200 inches closer, Sather sets her race strategy, “I plan on going in with a strong focus, run good laps, and stay consistent with this being my first time there.”

At the age of 9, Sather began turning heads in the Midwest as she started competing in go-karts. Sather said, “If It wasn’t for my parents, I would not be where I am today.” Sather’s parents had a very active role in her career, not only as emotional support but also as a team member. Sather said, “My mom was my wrench girl during my races, we would always have fun. It made the wins that much more special knowing that my mom played an active part. ”

As an ambassador for women in racing, Sather takes that role responsibly. Sather said, “I had great parents, who raised me with strong values. My family taught me to always stick to who I am. I hope to pass those same values on to the younger generation that looks up to me.”

Catch Natalie Sather, and the MAKE Motorsports team as they roll into Iowa Speedway, July 14th for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Iowa 200.
