QUOTES

Carl Edwards on racing at Kentucky Speedway:

“Kentucky is pretty huge for us.  It is a UPS race for us, our only UPS race this year, and it is right there near Best Buy’s Geek Squad headquarters so we are going to do some stuff there which will be fun. It is a big race for us.  I had my first win in NASCAR there in the truck series in 2003.  It is huge for me to be able to go back there and have the opportunity to run in the Cup Series and get a win there. We had one Nationwide win there as well and I really like that place. It has character and the fans are wound up so it’s a lot of fun.”

Crew chief Bob Osborne on racing at Kentucky Speedway:

“We certainly need a solid run at Kentucky this weekend.  We’re taking a very competitive car that has finished in the top 10 in both of the races we’ve run it this year (Charlotte and Texas).  Carl has a lot more experience at Kentucky than a lot of competitors since he’s won in both the Nationwide and Truck Series there.  I know I speak for everyone on the team when I say we’d like to add a Cup win to his Kentucky resume on Saturday.”
