(October 9, 2012) – TaxSlayer.com, the online tax preparation service that has been a cornerstone sponsor of JR Motorsports since 2011, has renewed its partnership with the Dale Earnhardt Jr.-owned race team with a long-term sponsorship agreement, JRM general manager Kelley Earnhardt Miller announced today.
As part of the new agreement, TaxSlayer.com will receive primary paint schemes in 17 Nationwide Series races each year of its contract, starting with the 2013 season-opening Daytona race with Earnhardt Jr., at the wheel.

Earnhardt Jr. will continue to be the face of TaxSlayer.com marketing campaigns, which will include nationally televised commercials that will air heavily during the tax-season months of January, February and March. He will again appear at the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl on Jan. 1, 2013, in Jacksonville, Fla., and he will drive the TaxSlayer.com Chevrolet in the season-opening Daytona race. He is a three-time winner of that race and six-time winner at Daytona in the Nationwide Series. The Daytona event is one of two races in which Earnhardt Jr. will drive TaxSlayer’s familiar red-and-black paint scheme.
