Fans Who Have Purchased a Race Ticket by April 14 Entered to Win Prestigious Position

Richmond, VA (April 3, 2013) – The Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown presented by FedEx is looking for someone to start the race by waving the green flag, and it could be you! All fans who have purchased a ticket to the Thursday, April 25, event by April 14 will be entered to win the opportunity to wave the green flag to officially begin the race.

Eleven fans will be randomly chosen as finalists for the sweepstakes, all of who will, along with up to four guests, attend the McGeorge Family Fun Night suite during the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown presented by FedEx, benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, and the BLUE OX 100 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race on April 25.  One of those 11 winners will be randomly selected as the Honorary Starter to begin the Showdown.

While in the McGeorge Family Fun Night suite, guests will enjoy a meet & greet with Denny Hamlin and drivers competing that evening, as well as complimentary food and beverages.

Make sure you purchase your tickets for the Thursday, April 25, Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown presented by FedEx and BLUE OX 100 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race before April 14 to be entered to win.
