Bliss Zooms to 17th Place Finish at Phoenix

Mike Bliss Race Summary: Making his 17th NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Phoenix International Raceway, Mike Bliss started the 15th Annual ServiceMaster 200 from the 17th position. After fighting a tight-handling race car throughout the 200 lap event, Bliss brought the No. 19 Tweaker Energy Shot Toyota Camry home in the 17th position. The Tweaker Energy Shot crew worked hard during the entire event to try and free up Bliss’ Camry. With 20-laps remaining, the car was balanced enough where Bliss found himself running consistent  lap times that were at times equal to the cars running in the top-10.

  •  Started: 17th
  • Finished: 17th
  • Bliss ran as high as 16th
  • Made three pit stops, one under green flag conditions.
  • Bliss will finish the 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series Driver Point Standings in the 13th position.

Bliss:
“I think a 17th place finish is respectable considering the tight conditions we were working with all race long. My crew never comes up short with their efforts to improve the Tweaker Energry Shot Camry. I can’t thank them enough for all of their hard work this season. I also appreciate Tweaker for being on board for the five races and I look forward to a future partnership with them.”
