Joey Logano was forced to a backup car late in the day Saturday after a flat left front tire forced the No. 22 Ford Fusion into the wall during Happy Hour practice at Auto Club Speedway. Logano, talked about the incident and what it means for tomorrow.

JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 AAA Southern California Ford Fusion – WHAT HAPPENED? “We had a left front tire pop. Earlier we had a left rear tire pop. Obviously there is an issue. A lot of cars are having it but maybe our cars a little worse than most. There is a little confusion about that. We will have to go to the backup but it has the same specs so we should be good. We have to go to the back, but this is a big race track and we will just have to pass everybody.”

HOW CONCERNED ARE YOU FOR TOMORROW? “Yeah, really concerned. I had two of them go down today and Brad (Keselowski) had two and now I have a new car. I am definitely concerned about tomorrow. I think Goodyear should be more concerned than I am. There are 43 of us out there that can have the issue. The 41 had a problem, the 78 had a problem, lots of guys had problems. We had four problems between the two Team Penske cars.”

HOW IS THIS TRACK AS FAR AS BEING ABLE TO WORK YOUR WAY UP? “You can go pretty much anywhere. I think we will pass cars and move our way up through the field. I guess it will just make it a lot of fun for me.”
