DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Office/March of Dimes Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 6th
How was qualifying today?
“We steadily made our FedEx Office March of Dimes Camry better through each session and really actually found something that will hopefully help us for race trim tomorrow. I was pretty impressed with our runs. With as many cycles as we had, we were able to pick up speed in each session — pretty happy with that, actually.”

If there’s a weather delay for the Cup race, what will your team need to do to stay ready and prepared?
“I think it’s more about the crew chiefs and what they have to do to adjust our Camry for the conditions. We’ll diagnose that and we’re going to look at the forecast to try to judge our car based off of that.”

BRIAN VICKERS, No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Starting Position: 23rd
What does a driver do to stay focused and prepared for the race if there’s a rain delay?
“It depends. Tomorrow — it depends on what’s going on. You still have to go through your routine, you still do the great fan stuff that we have for Aaron’s. This weekend it’s the launching of the ‘Own it’ campaign, so we’re still going to do some stuff to make sure everybody knows Aaron’s wants you to own it. We’re going to do the driver’s meeting. They still typically do driver intros in the rain so that when it stops raining they’re ready to go. But after that, you try to — for me personally, I try to relax and try to get my mind away from racing because I think sitting there and just mulling over the race for five hours and then actually race for three-and-a-half hours — you just wear yourself out. Sometimes you watch a movie, sometimes a show. More times than not, I’ll just work on a book I’m reading and just chill and relax.”

CLINT BOWYER, No. 15 Willie’s Duck Diner Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Starting Position: 25th
How was qualifying for your team?
“One spot. That’s it and we would have made the next round. I made a second lap and I ran the exact same lap time. Just a bummer we didn’t make it to the next round. We’ve been good on long runs this weekend so we’ll be ok for tomorrow. Just wish we had a little better starting spot for our Willie’s Duck Diner Toyota.”

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
