Huntersville, NC (May 19, 2014) – Tommy Baldwin Racing is proud to announce a new supporter in our “Salute the Troops” campaign beginning this week. The Beef Jerky Outlet of the Carolinas (Concord, NC) will be an associate sponsor on Reed Sorenson’s No. 36 Chevrolet during the Coca-Cola 600. Sorenson will be signing autographs at the Beef Jerky Outlet Saturday May, 24th from 11:30am to 12:15pm.
Starting Tuesday, Beef Jerky Outlet shoppers will have the opportunity to sign “Thank You” cards that we will be sent to troops overseas. Store owner Lisa Adams is also offering a discount, where you can buy one bag of jerky and receive 50% off a second bag of equal or lesser value, which they will send to troops overseas. The Adams store is a regular supporter of the armed forces, offering a discount to military members past or present with the presence of a military ID.
With the support of the Armed Forces Foundation and Chevrolet, the “Salute the Troops” campaign was launched to give back to those who have sacrificed for our freedom. Fans can sign the “Thank You” cards at the Chevrolet display from now until the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speed. Chevrolet has donated a total of 60,000 minutes of calling cards to be distributed.
“We are happy to welcome Lisa and the Beef Jerky Outlet of the Carolina’s to Tommy Baldwin Racing,” said team owner Tommy Baldwin. “Their jerky is delicious and we look forward to have a snack to fuel us during the Coca-Cola 600.”
“I’m proud to be part of a program that will reach so many of our servicemen and women,” said Adams.
