EARNHARDT 25th AT MICHIGAN

BROOKLYN, Mich. – Jeffrey Earnhardt brought the Experience Jackson Chevrolet home 25th in Saturday’s Ollie’s Bargain Outlet 250 at Michigan International Speedway.

Earnhardt started the race in 29th and raced in the 20s most of the afternoon. He was 30th halfway through the 125-lapper but rallied late to reach 25th.

“I really like the track and the speeds here, but it was a fairly tough day for our Experience Jackson Chevrolet,” Earnhardt said. “We ran well at times, but we didn’t put the full day together like we wanted. We had a good time representing the Experience Jackson folks, though. We’ll push on from here.”

Paul Menard won the race in his first Nationwide Series appearance of the year. It was his second career Nationwide win.

The circuit moves on to Road America for a June 21 race.
