CASSILL LOOKS TO RALLY AT MID-OHIO

LEXINGTON, Ohio – After failing to finish last week’s road-course race at Watkins Glen International because of suspension issues, Landon Cassill hopes to bounce back this weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Nationwide drivers will be road-course racing for the second straight week in the 90-lap Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200.

Cassill has had mixed results on road courses this Nationwide season. He was eighth earlier in the year at Road America, matching his top finish of the season but was hit with a 33rd-place run last week at Watkins Glen.

“I like racing at Mid-Ohio, and we hope to make up for last week this week,” Cassill said. “Road-course racing is all about picking your points to pass and keeping the car on course. We’re looking to do well.”

Cassill rolls into Mid-Ohio in 11th place in Nationwide points.
Practice is scheduled at 1:30 and 3 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying will begin at 9:40 a.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 2:45 p.m.
