KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Aug. 26, 2014) – Kansas Speedway will once again host a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series night race on May 9, 2015, and a race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series on Oct. 18, 2015 for the Hollywood Casino 400.
Joining the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series night race is the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday night, May 8, 2015, while the NASCAR Nationwide Series will return to Kansas Speedway on Oct. 17, 2015 for the Kansas Lottery 300.
Kansas Speedway’s May races will air on FOX Sports 1, and the Hollywood Casino 400 on Oct. 18 will air on NBC, while the Kansas Lottery 300 on Oct. 17 will air on NBC Sports Network. All races can be heard on MRN affiliates throughout the country.
“Our May night races were highly anticipated by our fans and I feel like both races were entertaining and I’m looking forward to hosting another weekend of night racing in 2015,” said Kansas Speedway President Patrick Warren. “Being a part of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup is exciting for our fans and with this new date, we’ll be the final race in the Contender round with the remaining championship drivers trying to win the Hollywood Casino 400 to ensure that they move on to the next round.”
Tickets for the 2015 season will go on sale after Kansas Speedway’s October 2014 race weekend. Fans that purchase weekend tickets for Kansas Speedway’s upcoming October weekend will be among the first to be able to purchase 2015 tickets.
Tickets races are currently on sale for the Oct. 3, 2014, ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, the Oct. 4, 2014, Kansas Lottery 300 (NASCAR Nationwide Series) and the Oct. 5, 2014, Hollywood Casino 400, the fourth race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Tickets can be purchased by calling 866-460-RACE (7223) or by logging onto www.kansasspeedway.com.
Parking is always free at Kansas Speedway and fans can bring in one 14x14x14-inch soft-sided cooler with their favorite food and beverages.
