Hill Back Behind Wheel of RBR Ford for NCWTS Season Finale

CERRO GORDO, N.C. (November 11, 2014) – Ricky Benton Racing (RBR) Enterprises announced today that Austin Hill will make his second series start in the No. 92 ARCO Design/Build / BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors / Goodyear FleetHQ /A &D Welding / Wynn’s Ford F-150 in Friday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Ford Ecoboost 200 at Miami Homestead Speedway.

In Hill’s first outing with the team at Martinsville last month, a broken wheel relegated the No. 92 Ford to a 26th-place finish. Hill did lead 21 laps prior to the wheel issue.

“I felt like I learned a lot (at Martinsville),” Hill said. “The team worked great together and the communication between (crew chief) Mike (Hester) and I got better as the race went on.”

His crew chief agreed.

“Austin did a great job of explaining what the truck was doing so that we could make the necessary adjustments,” Hester said. “Even though we didn’t have the finish we wanted, I felt like we made some positive gains.”

Gains that both driver and crew chief think will pay dividends this week.

“There is a trust factor that a driver and a crew have to have with each other,” Hill said. “What we built at Martinsville will pay off at Homestead.

“They know what I am capable of and I know what they are capable of and everyone is much more comfortable with each other and I think it will pay off at the track.”

“We were in line for a good finish at Martinsville and that was our first time out together,” said Hester. “We’ve got a good truck, a talented driver and, with a little bit of luck, we should be able to bring home a top-10 finish.”

RBR Enterprises will be bringing chassis T-6 to Homestead for the Ford Ecoboost 200. This is the same chassis that Scott Riggs  raced at Charlotte back in May.

The No. 92 F-150 will be carrying primary sponsorship from ARCO Design/Build for the Ford 200. Based in Atlanta, ARCO Design/Build, Inc. is a turn-key design/build firm widely recognized as an industry leader for various industrial project types, including but not limited to cold storage, food distribution, tenant improvements, retrofits and light industrial warehouse/distribution.

“We are very appreciative of ARCO coming on board with us for the Ford Ecoboost 200,” said RBR Enterprises team owner Ricky Benton. “It’s always exciting to have new partners to go racing with and we look forward to bringing home a good finish for them.”
