Jimmy Weller to run limited NASCAR XFINITY Series schedule in 2015

Weller to Drive the No. 90 Chevrolet Camaro for King Autosports

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (February 11, 2015) – After making his debut in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway last season, Jimmy Weller will return to the series to compete on a limited basis in 2015.  The Hubbard, Ohio native will drive the No. 90 Geneva-Liberty Steel / My Video Library / Weller-Hughes General Contracting & Developing Chevrolet Camaro for King Autosports.  Weller currently has four races included on his 2015 schedule, beginning with the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, February 28.

“I’m really excited to be back in the NASCAR XFINITY Series this season,” Weller said.  “It’s been a lot of fun to race with Bobby Dotter, and I’m really proud to join him and his partners at King Autosports as the driver of the No. 90 Chevrolet Camaro for four races this season.  I have great partners in Geneva-Liberty Steel, My Video Library and Weller-Hughes General Contracting & Developing, and I’m happy that each of them will be joining our effort on the track again this year.”

“We’re very happy to have Jimmy at King Autosports,” team partner Bobby Dotter said.  “We had a great season working together last year in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and I’m excited to help him continue on his career path in the XFINITY Series in 2015.”

In addition to the race at Atlanta, the rookie’s schedule will be rounded out with NASCAR XFINITY Series events at Richmond International Raceway, Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Weller also continues to seek sponsorship for additional events throughout the 2015 season.

The Hisense 250 is scheduled for Saturday, February 28 at 2 p.m. EDT.  FOX Sports 1 will provide live television coverage, with PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio providing live radio coverage beginning at 2 p.m. EDT.  Follow Jimmy Weller on Facebook (Facebook.com/JWellerRacing) and Twitter (@JWellerRacing) for additional updates leading up to the event.
