CASSILL LOOKS FOR REBOUND AT ATLANTA

HAMPTON, Ga. – After a qualifying accident soured his Daytona International Speedway weekend, Landon Cassill looks to rebound in Saturday’s Hisense 250 Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Cassill finished 31st in the Daytona opener in a backup car after his primary car was severely damaged when he was an innocent victim of a multi-car crash in qualifying.

“Daytona was not the start we were looking for, but there wasn’t much we could do about it,” Cassill said. “Our best car there got crunched in that crash. We did the best we could do considering everything. We’re looking for much more in Atlanta.”

Cassill will carry sponsorship from Flex Seal in Saturday’s race.

AMS practice is scheduled Friday at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Qualifying is at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, followed by the race at 2 p.m.
