CASSILL LOOKING FOR MORE

FONTANA, Calif. – Landon Cassill’s goals include scoring top-10 race finishes, and he’ll shoot for that again Saturday in the Drive4Clots.com 300 Xfinity Series race at Auto Club Speedway.

Cassill will be riding with sponsorship from Bubba Burger, which will be a very visible sponsor all around – and outside – the speedway this weekend.

An accident knocked Cassill to a 37th-place finish last week at Phoenix, and he’s looking for a rebound at ACS, where he has raced six times.

“I have a pretty good familiarity with the track at Fontana, and we’re looking to do well there this week,” Cassill said. “We’ve gotten off to a slower start than we wanted, so it’s time to kick things into high gear. We want to put the Bubba Burger Chevrolet up in the big numbers.”

Team mechanic Ryan Michals will serve as Cassill’s crew chief this weekend.

Practice is scheduled at 4:30 and 6 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 12:45 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 4.
