ADVANCE NOTES

Wallace at Texas Motor Speedway

Friday marks Bubba Wallace’s first NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Texas Motor Speedway.

The No. 6 AdvoCare team brings the same chassis to the track that was used earlier this season at Atlanta Motor Speedway, earning an 11th-place finish.

In four NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) races at Texas Motor Speedway, Wallace qualified inside the top-20 each time, led 51 total laps and earned three top-10 finishes.

Speedway Success

In 23 NCWTS starts at intermediate tracks, ranging from one to two miles in length, Wallace has earned two wins (Gateway Motorsports Park and Homestead-Miami Speedway), one pole, six top-fives and 13 top-10s, while leading 510 laps.

Recapping Auto Club Speedway

Wallace ran in the top-five for the majority of the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Auto Club Speedway, before contact on a late-race restart dropped the No. 6 Roush Performance Mustang back in the field, ultimately finishing 12th.

QUOTE WORTHY

Bubba Wallace on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:

“I’m excited to get back to one of my favorite places!  I’m looking forward to making some laps with AdvoCare on our Ford Mustang.  I’m hoping for a little redemption, as I blew up in the fall Truck race.  I’m really looking to build off our run in California and settle in these next few races.”
