Duck Commander 500 | April 11, 2015

Welcome Back…Following a one-week hiatus, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to action this Saturday night at Texas Motor Speedway, where Michael Annett will pilot the No. 46 Northland Chevrolet SS at the 1.5-mile quad-oval racetrack.

Annett in the Lone Star State…In NASCAR Xfinity Series competition, Annett averaged a finish of 16.1 at Texas Motor Speedway, with a best result of ninth coming in 2012. In his most recent Cup Series outing at TMS, Annett finished 22nd.

Northland Debuts…Annett’s No. 46 will be adorned by the logo and livery of Northland, a longtime Annett partner. Saturday’s race marks the first time Northland will act as a primary partner in the Sprint Cup Series.

Michael Annett on Texas Motor Speedway:
“I’ve personally had some good runs at this place in the Xfinity Series and last year, I was a few late-race cautions from finishing in the top 15 in the fall Cup race. In these races, you have to find a good balance with your car and conserve fuel for long runs. If we take care of those things, we’ll be in good shape.”
