CASSILL READY FOR TEXAS

FORT WORTH, Texas – After two off weeks, Landon Cassill is ready to roll again in the Xfinity Series as the tour stops at Texas Motor Speedway for Friday night’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 300, the sixth race of the season.

Cassill finished 21st in the series’ most recent race at Auto Club Speedway and is 18th in Xfinity points.

“Texas is a hard track to get ahold of, but if you get the right setup there you can fly,” Cassill said. “We’re shooting for our first top 10 there this week.”

Cassill is no rookie at TMS. He has run in nine Sprint Cup and five Xfinity races at the fast 1.5-mile track and should have a potent G&K Services Chevrolet for Friday’s race.Practice is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. (ET) and 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Qualifying is set for 4:45 p.m. Friday, with the race to follow under the lights at 8:30.
