200 LAPS, 300 MILES

This Week’s No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota at Kentucky Speedway:  J.J. Yeley will pilot Chassis No. 222 in the Kentucky 300 at Kentucky Speedway. This will be the first time Yeley has raced this chassis this year.  The car was last raced by Kyle Fowler with the No. 26 JGL Racing team at Charlotte.

Yeley at Kentucky Speedway:

J.J. will be making his eighth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Kentucky Speedway to go along with two previous starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series as well as two in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.  He also has a start in the Indy Car Series at the 1.5-mile track in Sparta, Kentucky.

Yeley has two XFINITY Series top-10 finishes at Kentucky Speedway with a best finish of second back in the 2006 season.

Last year, Yeley and his No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota finished 22nd and 23rd in the two NASCAR XFINITY Series events at Kentucky Speedway.

J.J.’s Thoughts on Kentucky:

“Kentucky is a challenging yet fun race track.  It is fast and the bumps add a great amount of character.  Also the two ends of the track are really different.  So it is important to get your car handling well so you can get over the bumps and through both ends of the track to keep your momentum.”

“We are coming off a disappointing finish last week at Daytona and this week will be important for us to rebound and gain back some positive results.  This team has always responded and I think we will do just that again this time.”
