ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 Post-Event Infraction, Manufacturer Championship Points Update

INDIANAPOLIS (July 15, 2015) — INDYCAR announced the following post-event infraction and manufacturer championship points updates from the ABC Supply Co. Inc. Wisconsin 250 at Milwaukee IndyFest, which was held July 12 at The Milwaukee Mile:

• The No. 11 KVSH Racing entry was fined $5,000 for violating Rule 14.3.1.1 of the Verizon IndyCar Series rulebook (Minimum Car Weight).

• Chevrolet received a deduction of 20 manufacturer points and Honda a deduction of 100 manufacturer points for engines that did not attain their life cycle during The Milwaukee Mile race weekend. According to Rule 10.6.4.3, 20 manufacturer points are deducted for an engine that fails to reach its 2,500-mile life cycle. The Chevrolet engine on the No. 4 KV Racing Technology entry and the Honda engines on the No. 7 Schmidt Peterson Motorsports, Nos. 18 and 19 Dale Coyne Racing and Nos. 25 and 27 Andretti Autosport entries did not reach their life cycle minimum before being changed out.

Following the adjustments, Chevrolet has 1,213 manufacturer points for the season and Honda has 899.
