Biffle on Indianapolis:
“I’m up in the air on how the high drag package will handle at Indy. Track position is the key to Indy, the further you are to the front the better your car drives because you aren’t in the dirty air. Now with the high drag that dirty air is going to be multiplied by a lot. So passing will be on the straightway. I don’t know how it will work for the car behind around the corner. Handling is still an issue. We have to go around the corner pretty fast and you have to have enough straightway to catch that guy in front of you with the high drag, so we’ll see, I just don’t know what it’s going to be like but I can’t wait to see.”
Puccia on Indianapolis:
“It’s great to have Lilly on board this weekend at Indy. About a month ago we were at Pocono which is a track with similar characteristics to Indy, so we can take what we learned there for what we’ll start with in Indy. NASCAR came up with a new aero packing with high drag characteristics to try and put the cars closer together. We get some extra test time on Friday with data on the car to get a better idea of what this new aero package will be like at Indy.”
