Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Greg Olsen Present Second Annual Weekend with the 88s

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Greg Olsen Join to Benefit Levine Children’s Hospital, Give a Lucky Fan a Weekend of their Lifetime

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Aug. 20, 2015) – NASCAR’s No. 88 driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Carolina Panthers No. 88 tight end Greg Olsen have teamed up to raise money for the Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. The fundraising event called, “Weekend with the 88s,” will offer one lucky winner and their guest an unprecedented experience in sports spectating.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to team up with Greg and his foundation again this year,” Earnhardt, Jr. said. “The schedule works out perfect for a fan to be able to come to our race Sunday in Martinsville, then get to go watch Greg and the Panthers play Monday Night Football. It’s a unique experience for the fans and helps us raise money and awareness for Levine Children’s Hospital.”

Weekend with the 88s kicks off Saturday, Oct. 31 with a behind-the-scenes tour of JR Motorsports and $200 to spend at the JR Nation retail store. It continues with an escorted, all-access tour of Bank of America Stadium’s luxury boxes, locker room, weight room, training room, in addition to a meeting and photo with Greg Olsen.

The next day’s itinerary includes  a roundtrip, weather-permitting helicopter ride from Concord, North Carolina, to Martinsville Speedway to experience the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, fully equipped with garage passes, grandstand tickets and an exclusive meet-n-greet with Earnhardt Jr. for the winner and a guest.

The experience will conclude Nov. 2 with Monday Night Football at Bank of America Stadium, where the winner and their guest will watch live as the Carolina Panthers take on the Indianapolis Colts. The winner will receive Panthers gear, exclusive parking, pre-game sideline passes and premium game tickets.

“I’m honored to team up with Dale Jr. to give a fan a weekend that I hope will be an unforgettable experience. In addition to a good time, the Weekend with the 88s benefits Levine Children’s Hospital, a place that I’ve experienced first-hand and truly understand makes a huge impact on the lives of its patients and their families. There’s no cause more worthy in my mind,” Olsen said.

Only 8,888 raffle tickets valued at $18.88 will be sold. The raffle kicked off on Aug. 18 and ends Oct. 11 at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be drawn Oct. 12. All proceeds will benefit the Levine Children’s Hospital.
