Richard Petty Helps Welcome CBS This Morning to Charlotte

Feature Previewing Super Bowl 50 Airs Thursday Morning

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (February 3, 2016) – In preparation for Super Bowl 50, the popular morning news program “CBS This Morning” made a recent visit to the Queen City of Charlotte (N.C.) to highlight some of the city’s key landmarks and traditions.

The visit was not complete until CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller made a visit to the Charlotte Motor Speedway and participate in the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Doing so, Miller was given pointers by “The King” Richard Petty after her laps.

The feature will air Thursday morning, February 4 between 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
