Homecoming Weekend for Bayne in Bristol

CONCORD, N.C. (April 12, 2016) – For Roush Fenway Racing’s Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion, racing at Bristol Motor Speedway has always been a homecoming event.

“I love Bristol,” said Bayne, who is coming off of a season-best 15th-place finish in Texas. “Growing up in Knoxville, we would always come here. It’s just a special place and really motivates you to put on a good show in front of your home crowd.  I’m confident that we can get it done this weekend with this AdvoCare Ford and head home with a great finish.”

Bayne, who hails from Knoxville, Tenn., will have a busy week ahead of him before hitting the track at Bristol, as he will be participating in Food City Race Night in Knoxville from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. In addition to that, Bayne will sign autographs at the Fanatics Tent on Saturday at10:00 a.m., as well as stopping by a NASCAR-media sponsored Tweetup on Sunday at 9:45 a.m.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series takes the green flag at Bristol Motor Speedway on Sunday, April 17, at 1:00pm EST on FOX, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
