Rette Jones Racing, Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway, Pre-Race Quotes:

Dominique Van Wieringen, driver of the No. 30 Joes Racing Products Ford Fusion:

On Greenville-Pickens (S.C.) Speedway: “Greenville wasn’t what we had hoped for. I had never been to Greenville before and we did our best to make solid gains, but we struggled with the handling of our No. 30 NASCAR Technical Institute / Durobyte Ford Fusion. I’m proud of the Rette Jones Racing guys for never giving up, but what happened at Greenville will make us stronger this season.”

On Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway: “I’m anxious to get to Bristol this weekend. It’s been a track I’ve been looking forward to since the end of last season. Practice and qualifying will go by in a hurry on Friday, so it’s important for us to make sure we’ve got our car dialed in and we’re ready for the race. I’m also thankful to have Jesse (Little) as my teammate this weekend. With his success there, it’s going to be nice to be able to lean on him for advice if I need it.”

On New Qualifying Procedure: “I’ve never had to qualify with a bunch of cars on the track at the same time before, so I’m optimistic to see how it goes. I guess you’ll just have to time your lap accordingly and hope another car doesn’t get in your way and risk messing up your lap. Hopefully, we can get back to qualifying inside the top-five and setting the tone for what we hope will be a good race.”

Rette Jones Racing, Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway, Pre-Race Quotes:

Mark Rette, mentor and co-owner of the No. 30 Joes Racing Products Ford Fusion:

On Greenville-Pickens (S.C.) Speedway: “There’s no hiding behind that the result that we had at Greenville wasn’t what we were looking for. I’m proud of Dominique for never giving up behind the wheel. We learned a lot as a team and I think when we go back there in September, we’ll be in much better shape. With every negative, you have to look for a positive.”

On Bristol (Tenn.) Speedway: “Even though Dominique has never been to Bristol before, I expect her to do very well. Thankfully, Jesse (Little), her teammate has been to Bristol before and has some success. I think he’ll be a key teacher for her, but I believe this is a track that will suit her driving style. We’ll have two cars in the race on Saturday and I look forward to seeing both Jesse and Dominique contending for strong runs in the PittLite 125.”
