PREECE ON THE ROAD AGAIN

ELKHART LAKE, Wisc. – Ryan Preece is ready to attack the Road America course Saturday in the Xfinity Series’ third road-course race of the year, the Road America 180.

The 182-mile race over the 14-turn course will be Preece’s first at Road America.

“Road racing is fun,” Preece said. “I’ve learned a lot on the road courses this year. This will be the third time out, so we’ll be shooting for a good run.”

Earlier this summer, Preece finished 27th and 17th in road-course events at Watkins Glen, N.Y. and Mid-Ohio.

Entering Saturday’s race, he is 18th in Xfinity driver points.

Practice is scheduled at 10 a.m. and noon (ET) Friday, to be followed by qualifying at 6:35 p.m. The race will get the green flag at 3 p.m. Saturday.
