JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion – QUALIFIED 6th
“That is better than where we have been. We qualified 14th here the last two times we have come here. We made a serious effort at changing some things here with the way we qualified to start closer to the front which is important. That is kind of where we were. We were about a sixth place car today and we need to find a little more but we made progress.”

HOW WILL THE WARMER TEMPERATURES TOMORROW AND SUNDAY AFFECT THINGS? “It will quite a bit. We haven’t made any laps in race trim yet and that was by design. We focused on qualifying because we hadn’t been qualifying good here and we know the track will be different. We made progress with our qualifying and we are happy with that.”

BRAD KESELOWSKI, No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion – QUALIFIED 8th
“You always want to be really high up but compared to where we were in practice that was a really good gain. I am looking forward to making the most of that come race time because I think we have a much better race car than a qualifying raw speed car. I am looking forward to tomorrow and working on race trim more and obviously the race on Sunday. I think we have a fast Ford Fusion.”

RYAN BLANEY, No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion – Qualified 17th
“We were pretty tight all day and really tight in qualifying so that is something we need to work out. Hopefully our race trim stuff isn’t like that. That was not our best today, that is for sure. We will work on race trim tomorrow and try to get ready for the race.”
